How Much Does a New Zealand Red Stag Hunt Cost?

At Ivory Cliffs Estate, our 2026 Red Stag hunting packages begin at $7,500 USD per hunter for a 2x1 hunt or $8,000 USD for a 1x1 hunt. Every package includes four nights of accommodation at our estate, one Red Stag within the selected SCI size class, trophy fees, meals and beverages, transportation, airport transfers, professional guiding and hunt photography.

2026 New Zealand Red Stag Hunt Prices

Our Red Stag packages begin at 400–425 SCI, with opportunities to pursue exceptional stags measuring more than 900 inches. That range allows us to accommodate you with different goals, preferences and budgets.

What Is the Difference Between 1x1 and 2x1 Pricing?

A 1x1 hunt pairs one hunter with one professional guide. This is our most individualized option and allows us to plan each day entirely around that hunter and the type of stag they want to pursue.

A 2x1 hunt allows two hunters to share one guide. Each hunter receives a complete hunting package and harvests their own Red Stag, but sharing a guide reduces the price for both hunters. This is the most common option for spouses hunting with us.

Hunters booking together do not have to select the same SCI size class. One hunter can pursue a 400–425 SCI stag while the other chooses a larger package.

What Is Included in the Package?

Every Ivory Cliffs Estate Red Stag package includes:

• One Red Stag within the selected SCI size class
• Four nights of accommodation
• Trophy fees
• Transportation during the hunt
• Meals and beverages
• Professional guiding based on the selected 1x1 or 2x1 package
• Airport transfers
• Hunt photography

We want hunters to know what they are paying for before they arrive. With accommodations, meals, trophy fees, guiding and ground transportation included, most of the important details are already handled when you book.

What Does the SCI Size Class Mean?

The SCI size class establishes the trophy range included in your hunting package, but it does not mean arriving and simply selecting a stag. This is hard hunting and we get after it in the hills chasing these stags.

If you encounter a larger stag that you decide to pursue, you may have the option to upgrade your package in the field.
